Difficult Questions About the Nature of Reality

Some of you will recall that I’ve spoken before about difficult questions on the nature of reality and I’ve suggested that people take up Ramana Maharshi’s practice of asking “Who is it that is asking “Who am I?”?” (although I prefer “What is it that is asking “What am I?”?” because I think that it is more accurate), if they want to know their true nature. There are however numerous other difficult and important questions that I believe are worth exploring, because in part I have never come across a satisfactory answer to any of them and such answers may ultimately be impossible to find.

I’m going to give you three questions for you to contemplate. If you think you can come up with an answer in 5 minutes, you’re deluding yourself, so go away for a few weeks or months or years and sit with each question. When you eventually come up with some robust answers that can withstand any scrutiny that you throw at them, see then how you can apply what you learn to your life and how you engage with life. I’ve been working with each of these questions for several years and I have not yet come to a definitive answer for either one. There is no right answer for the third one and I have a suspicion that there may not be a right answer for the first two but I’m not quite sure.

So here are the questions:

Q1. What is space? (This refers to all internal and external space – space of any kind.)

Q2. What is reality?

Q3. What is it that is inside of all phenomenon that can help create reality? All phenomenon – mental, physical or energetic. What is it that creates the structure and the process?

If you get to a point of understanding each of these fully, you will then have a complete understanding of how you shape your entire physical experience and your experience of an afterlife. If possible, as you move through different layers of answers, see if you can experience their ‘felt sense’ counterpart in your body.

For those who think – “Ah, I’ll solve this riddle with Chat GPT!”. By all means go ahead but you won’t learn anything because you’ll be bypassing your own wisdom and the struggle to get past your preconceptions and limited thinking. A struggle that is absolutely necessary for your growth as human beings in life and death! Just ask Nick Cave! Reaching a point of understanding about anything, is as much a creative struggle, as writing or painting or composing a masterpiece! Cheating, will only take you backwards.

I dedicate this post to my good friend Marcus from Sweden, who has been grappling with the nature of reality, whilst smashing metal into blades and carving wood into spoons.

Linguistic Relativity and the Perception of Reality

Anyone who has taken the time out to really think about the nature of reality will have realized that reality is a product of a range of converging internal and external factors. The most significant of which are related to our internal and external perceptions (perceptions associated with the senses, the body and the mind). Linguistic Relativity (the Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis) suggests that our view of reality and our general cognition is a product of the structure of language. In other words, your perception of reality is shaped by the language you think and speak in. Such differences in perception are especially pronounced when you look at how vastly different groups of people see the world – for example traditional indigenous people versus westerners and easterners, so called educated vs uneducated people, intellectual versus unintellectual people, people with so called disabilities vs people without disabilities, adolescents vs very old people etc. You can take any group of different kinds of people who are differentiated by the language that they use and discover that they have very different views of the world and reality.

Linguistic Relativity really creates significant differences in how we perceive reality, when you think about concepts such as idea, time, space, self, connection, ownership, possession, expectation and acceptance, love, choice, causes and effects etc.. You can see significant differences in how human beings function but we can only speculate how significant these differences are between humans and ETs.

To understand many of the things that we project onto ETs, all we have to do is to look at how our own language shapes our perception of reality. When you look honestly at your own limitations from this perspective, you quickly see how we never really see ETs, except through a prism of our own distorted cognitions of who/what we think they are. Only by understanding how they use language (and feeling) can we truly appreciate who/what they are. And the best way to do that is to point our eyes back at ourselves and observe how the language we use inside our heads and with each other shapes how we perceive and come to understand the nature of reality.

Here’s a little experiment in how you perceive reality. Look around you and take a walk and look around you. Notice how often you see numbers or words. Then see how those numbers or words shape your view of reality. If like me you have the chance to walk in the natural world, where you can be completely free of numbers and words, you’ll have a very different perception of reality compared to someone who is saturated in numbers and words. A good place to do this is in the supermarket. Watch carefully how those numbers and words shape people’s perception sand behaviours. Some people never escape numbers or words and are surrounded and filled with the constructs of language their entire waking life. What might that do to their perception of reality? There are some ETs races who have no language and no written language yet are highly developed. How might they have become like this?

Here’s another little experiment. Read or watch or listen to 30 minutes of news and take note of how the current pandemic and pandemic related issues are portrayed. What is the general tone of those messages and how might that tome effect people? How does it effect you? Imagine then that the way language is being used right now by the media and those who use the media (politicians, corporations etc.) is a construct of language that both reflects the structure of language and the limitations of language and has a powerful influence on how you perceive reality – which in this case is in relation to the current pandemic.

The only way to really understand the power of language is to experience stillness (whose symptom is silence) and to see how once words arise in the mind, your perception begins to change. When the monkey mind takes over, your perception is uncontrollably altered. So, be wary of your own monkey mind and be wary of other people’s monkey minds – especially people and entities of influence – such as leaders, teachers, corporations and the media.

TSM170 : The Nature of Reality – Doubt and Discernment

Thanks to your recent feedback, I decided to save a few TSMs that would otherwise have gone to the scrap heap because they had too much wind in them ! (Thank god no one has chucked me on the scrap heap yet for the same reason !). Today’s TSM from June this year is the first of them and I can tell you that after much pedantic editing on my part (because the wind did piss me off !), this TSM is completely free of wind !

I dedicate this post to Darci and Frédéric. Darci asked me a question on the subject of figuring out what’s real a little while back and for whom I failed to give an adequate answer ! Thanks Darci for all your curiosity and support and for being willing to look honestly at all your conditioning ! Frédéric has continued to push his own experiences of reality to the edge of what he knows and has the courage to keep asking “Is this real ?”. Thank you Frédéric for being open to all the boomerangs and sausages that I throw at you !

In TSM170 I explore the nature of reality by looking at our ideas of objective and subjective reality. I speculate on the possibility that the shared agreements that we have about objective reality, may actually change over time.

We all have a subjective reality. We accept that. But we don’t know how another person’s subjective reality is different to our own or necessarily accept the particulars of another person’s subjective reality. The experience of objective and subjective realities can occur simultaneously and if we’re not careful, other people’s subjective reality can become part of our own subjective reality.

So how is it that we can figure out whether a particular experience is real in regard to it’s objective reality, so that we can safely accommodate it into our own subjective reality ? In order to answer this question we have to ask what effects our experience of reality and use doubt and discernment to tease out what’s real ? And what if after everything, we’re still not sure about what’s real and what’s not real ? How then do we deal with the discovery that some things may be real and other things may not be real and other things are entirely unknowable and uncertain ? And what then can we discover about ourselves when we face the unknown ?

Note : Early on I referred to my son getting driving experience for his provisional licence. I meant to say probationary licence. When it’s cold, ye old brain does not always work so well !

Enjoy,

Bright. 😉

Why Remote Viewers are Wrong About So Much !

Many of you who have an interest in remote viewing will have heard many remote viewers talk about what they claim to have seen in the past or future. People like Ed Dames (sorry Ed I hate to break the news but you are no longer a Major !) and Courtney Brown and a host of younger remote viewers who are holding onto their coat tails, are in the habit of talking about all the amazing discoveries that they have made through remote viewing. None of these personalities ever actually talk about their personal lives or give you any sense that they’re vulnerable or make mistakes. A couple of things really piss me off about such people. First their egos are out of control. They so lack any basic awareness of the human mind that it befuddles me as to how they do what they do and no one questions them. Second, some of them such as Ed Dames make a considerable amount of money out of scaring the crap out of people with doom and gloom ! I too believe a major solar catastrophe is on the cards (or has happened else where and else when) but if I was in their position and had their level of notoriety, I’d be sharing what I know for free instead of capitalizing on it. That is abominable Dr Doom ! Third, they never acknowledge the influence their own conditioning has on what they experience and what they perceive and how they interpret what they experience and perceive. And fourth, they fail to understand the basic nature of reality. One of the things that they constantly do is to talk about non local perception. Non local perception is a misnomer ! You have to have an aspect of a being that is local – i.e. the body, in order to perceive what is beyond the body. And in addition to this, if you limit yourself to believing that the body you see is the only body or the total body, you misunderstand what a body is and the meaning of local-non local. The other thing they constantly fuck up is their understanding of time and space. So let me say something more significant about that because this is the greatest flaw in how remote viewers function.

Let me start by re-iterating what my ET friend Dude has said – Time does not exist, there is only space. And let me remind you of Dude’s understanding that reality consists of Conjoined Space. Conjoined Spaces are connected to every life. Every life has the capacity to create new Conjoined Spaces. This is primarily caused by strong emotion and is entirely involuntary. On average, most people have 400-500 Conjoined Spaces (other lives) occurring simultaneously. That is to say that there are 400-500 other yous out there in their own version of space, living a life that maybe very similar or very different to your own.

So what are the implications for remote viewing ? There are many implications for remote viewing but let me give you just two.

First, when a remote viewer leaves his destination, every time he leaves his destination, he is potentially in a different Conjoined Space. Say for example over the course of a year I go ahead and look at my granddaughter when she is aged 12 three times. Each time I leave, I maybe leaving from a different Conjoined Space. Let’s call them CS1, CS2 and CS3. The spaces I follow CS1, CS2 and CS3 will lead to different spaces (Destinations – D1, D2, D3) and as a result the space that my grandaughter lives in will appear different each time. The differences maybe subtle or they maybe significant. So when a remote viewer arrives at a destination, having left at different times (CSs), she is potentially in a different space. Here’s another example – say  I go to see a volcano that explodes on 4th April 2053 in Chile. Leaving from CS1 takes me to D1, leaving from CS2 takes me to D2 and leaving from CS3 takes me to D3. In D1 the volcano explodes destroying the city near it. In D2 the volcano fizzles a little and settles down. In D3 the volcano has been dormant for three centuries and shows no sign of activity.

Second, the closer the departure time e.g. CS1 and CS2, looking at the same event, the more likely that D1 and D2 will be the same or similar. The further apart the departure time e.g. CS4 and CS11, looking at a similar event, the more likely that D4 and D11 will be different. In other words, close departure times lead to similar events (similar spaces) and distance departure times lead to different events (different spaces). So when Ed Dames or Courtney Brown say that after repeated viewings, it looked like the solar catastrophe/global flood was going to be in 2011, then 2012, then 2016; they really have no idea because each time they or their team look, they are departing from a different Conjoined Space. In fact they or their team are more likely departing from a different life altogether. My own concerns about a major solar catastrophe and nuclear events (as the Teal’hia showed me in 2011) appear to be valid to other me’s in other Conjoined Spaces but so far, not so valid in this one. I didn’t understand that at the time and it bothered the hell out of me ! Whether or not these events are still on the cards for this me in this reality, I am unsure. Sometimes it appears to be and sometimes it doesn’t. Dude has told me that Conjoined Spaces can also merge and disappear entirely. In other words, other me’s can come and go and with them, everything that they would have experienced.

So the bottom line is this. You are more than your body. Your body is more than it appears to be. You have many physical bodies and each of them are more than they appear to be. Some of you is already dead and enjoying the afterlife, some of you is dying, some of you has just been born and some of you like this you is now living and wondering what the hell Bright is going on about ! Every time a remote viewer attempts to perceive something else where in space or time, she does so from a particular life (CS). Depending on how far ahead or behind she wishes to look, she will see something similar or different each time she attempts to look. That is why remote viewers ought to have protocols that have them revisit the very same target multiple times over a long period of time. Things change and new CSs are created. Remote viewing has limited accurately because of the discrepancies that occur between different departure points and arrival points over any given period of time. Or another way of saying it is might be, that each time a remote viewer looks at something, it is likely that she is a different self looking at what could possible be a different target. The person thinks they are the same person looking at the same target but if there has been a significant interval (which will vary from person to person), chances are that they will not be the same person looking at the same target.

One way to test this is to have a remote viewer see if they can see other selves looking at the same event. It has been said to me that such experiences can be dangerous but I’m not entirely sure why. I can think of no other way to see other selves (CSs) so readily.

By now the implications of CS as an understanding of reality may have led you to wonder such things as, “How can I contact my other lives ?”, “Who am I ?”, “Can I experience my other lives ?”, “What do you mean I’m already dead ?” etc.. I don’t have any answers for you. But Dude and I have explored such issues in the second book, which as you know is still being written. Let me leave you with one final thought. Who creates your body and who creates your dreams ? Or put slightly differently, which part of you creates your body and which part of you creates your dreams ?

PS. This post probably would have been better with diagrams. See how you go !

Paradoxical Illusions That We Take To Be Real

Nothing is what it seems to be. We humans have a capacity for self deception that far exceeds any other animal, partly because of our ability to carry out abstract thought and partly because of our desire for control and certainty. We get so stuck in dualistic relative thinking and interpretation of experience, that we forget that much of what we perceive is merely a construct of human perception and thinking. To give you a sense of what I am trying to say, let me give you the following examples below. I dare any of you to explain any one of these things in full. If you are willing to investigate these things, you will discover that none of them are what they are appear to be and all of them are built upon some form of dependent origination – which is to suggest that none of them are fixed entities but entities that reference something else. We have built an entire civilization based on this way of functioning and yet we take what we have created to be real (see statement below) and often permanent. In one sense reality is relative and arises only in the mind. 😉

  • When is it midnight ?
  • What is infinity ?
  • What is thought ?
  • Does silence exist ? And if so, where does silence exist ?
  • Does stillness exist ? If so, where does stillness exist ?
  • What is mind ? Where does mind exist ? Where is your mind ?
  • What is light ?
  • What is matter ?
  • What is reality ?
  • What are you ? (What is the self ?)
  • What is 1 ?
  • What is a number ?
  • What is writing ?
  • Can you exist independently ?
  • When are you dead ?
  • How many lives constitute your body ? (note : just this one Conjoined Space)
  • How big is a droplet of water ?
  • How many droplets of water would fit inside a single rain drop of water ?
  • How old is the dirt under your feet ?
  • Why are you considered to be alive but the sun is not ?

Red Pill, Blue Pill – It’s all Crap

Some of you are fond of this quote by Morpheus in the movie The Matrix (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_pill_and_blue_pill):

“After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill—the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill—you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Remember: all I’m offering is the truth.”

I have never been a fan of The Matrix and I apologise for offending anyone but this way of thinking is all crap ! There is no matrix or matrix like reality and there is no algorithmic Boolean dualistic choice of this or that. Reality is complex and our choices in relation to reality are just as complex. Those who believe that there is a red pill alternative have missed the point. Reality is not a metaphor. Your choices are not a metaphor. Some days you make a choice that goes one way and sometimes you make a choice that goes another way. And sometimes you make both choices and sometimes you can’t make a choice. If you truly believe this quote and take it as a literal truth, you entrench your self even further into illusion and delusion.

It sounds nice and makes a nice emotional conundrum but that’s about the only value it has !

I choose no pills ! 😉

The Human Body, the Life Force and Psi Phenomenon (Consciousness isn’t Where It’s At)

This is just a brief post that I hope will make something clear to those of you who may not have considered the subject before.

The human body expresses the life force. The fundamental energy of the cosmos. The energy that is in everything and connects everything. When a human being experiences anything, the human body experiences it with or without our conscious awareness. That means that the body knows what we know and what we do not know. The body is continuously conveying what it knows to the brain. We might also say that every part of the body knows what every other part of the body knows because the life force exists throughout the body. The body is always sending out signals regarding what it is experiencing, whether we are consciously aware of it or not. When we pay attention to those signals, we can know what the body is trying to tell us. The human body is not separate from its environment and nor is it separate from the whole – the cosmos. Because of this the human body can know anything from any where in any time. A human being can shift her conscious awareness towards the signals that the body is emitting and communicate with the body, such that it is possible to know anything any where in any time. Similarly a rock in your garden knows what is being experienced by a rock that is buried by ice and snow in Antarctica.

When we human beings realise that it isn’t consciousness that is significant but the life force that is significant, we will experience a major shift in how we see reality and in the practice of external and internal perception.

One of the most significant flaws in contemporary thinking about psi phenomenon is that consciousness arises first and that consciousness effects what it is directed towards. I believe that the reality is that consciousness arises from the life force and that the life force effects reality through the creation, flux and destruction of secondary energies. Dude can materialise anywhere in the cosmos without a space craft, not because of his consciousness but because his body knows it is expressing the life force and feeling the life force that is everywhere. It can make changes without his conscious awareness.

In previous centuries we believed in black and white models of things, which has been expressed in things like duality and cartesian duality / thinking (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mind%E2%80%93body_dualism#Substance_or_Cartesian_dualism). Many people now believe in holistic models of things, which has been expressed in things like non duality. What has been missed between these two forms of how to perceive reality, is an integrated way of seeing things that includes both, that for example integrates duality and non duality. Similarly, we think now that quantum entanglement and consciousness are the answer to everything. What those beliefs are missing is an integrated approach that brings together things like consciousness/unconsciousness, awareness/unawareness, the small scale/the large scale, the parts/the whole, the life force/secondary energies. We seem to be stuck in the this or that model, while claiming that we’re all inclusive.

Our exploration of many psi phenomenon seems to be very much focused on an analytical/thinking approach and misses the sensing/feeling approach. It looks at one and ignores the other and in so doing has nothing to integrate. Lets me give you an example. All the different forms of Remote Viewing have this in common :

  • They focus on rigid protocols, which is an example of an analytical/thinking approach.
  • They focus on what the mind perceives and largely ignore what the body perceives (I’m not talking about the 5 senses here).
  • They ignore the bodies connection to other bodies and its intrinsic wholeness.
  • They ask viewers to to exclude analytical overlay while still being subject to conditioning, influence and imagination.
  • They fail to integrate all possible information coming in via the brain and body.
  • They focus on the core principle of non local consciousness. This is a misnomer. If you have a physical body, you MUST use local consciousness to perceive non local information with the mind.
  • They base their core principles on contemporary science and lack insight into the full nature of reality and such things as Conjoined Space – in which other yous are experiencing different things and different pasts and futures exist. Because of this they are at a loss to explain inaccurate predictions, why things sometimes look different when revisited or why different viewers sometimes see the same event differently or completely different events in the same space or in relation to the same person.

We have much to learn about how to approach perceiving and interacting with reality. Remote Viewing is the new kid on the block, everyone’s favourite candy and the bees knees but it isn’t all it’s made out to be, even among the best remote viewers. As a practice, it’s a head game, not a body game and definitely not a head and body game. Remote viewers are prey to all kinds of conditioning and influences and a healthy dose of imagination. Remote Viewing as a technical discipline of the modern era, has mostly been developed by men and I think that is the reason it’s a head dominated game. But if you look at Remote Viewing like practices that were developed in ancient Europe, Siberia, India and China, you see that there were practices that were more bodily orientated and these were influenced in their development by men and women. In China for example, the practice of Qi Gong (with it’s 3,500 + individual approaches) gave birth to many psychic abilities – of which the ability to view at a distance (and sometimes to interact at a distance) arose in a practitioner, only after working with the body and developing the bodies experience of different physical environments and secondary energies. This approach in some schools of Qi Gong was much more integrated than something like the RV approach. And while for the most part it was more integrated, it didn’t draw heavily from the body’s perception. This aspect of the practice of viewing (and manifesting new bodies) is largely missing from human spiritual and energetic practices.

We are now in a privileged position where we are witnessing the convergence of many things, which will in time influence the development of a different way of seeing reality and perceiving and interacting with reality. These include but are not limited to :

  • Being able to gain access to more human knowledge than has ever been accessible before.
  • Being able to share more human knowledge than we have ever been able to share before.
  • Being able to look back of the development of ideas among all written communication cultures and some oral communication cultures.
  • The need to find solutions to many ancient and modern problems.
  • The mixing of genes and cultures.
  • The prevalence of existential threats that are both man made and natural – on Earth and from space.
  • ET contact with people on every continent.
  • A rising awareness of the presence of ETs visiting Earth and the sharing of non human knowledge and wisdom.
  • The resurrection of ancient knowledge.
  • A restructuring of human history and geological and biological history.
  • A desire for global and local change.
  • The ongoing suffering associated with war, famine, disease, poverty, natural disasters, injustice, socioeconomic disparity, over population, lack of opportunity and lack of imagination.
  • A loss of biodiversity.
  • A spiritual renaissance which is paralleled by spiritual diversification.
  • Cross disciplinary investigation into ET contact, the afterlife and a wide range of psi phenomenon.
  • Cross disciplinary investigation into the nature of consciousness, different consciousness states and the impact of altering consciousness.
  • Wide spread interest in altering consciousness, the use of drugs, entheogens and music to facilitate changes in consciousness.
  • Wide spread interest in dreaming and lucid dreaming.
  • Cross disciplinary investigation into the nature of systems and applications of systems theory.
  • A shift in scientific thinking away from ideas predating 1900. (We are still stuck on many ideas that arose between 1900-1950 !).
  • Corporate and military interest in cutting edge ideas and applications in regard to consciousness, the nature of reality, biology, chemistry and physics.

Jazz would not exist without the African slave trade and the African slave trade would not exist without the ship builders of Europe. Nor would it exist without blues or ragtime. Rock would not exist without Robert Johnson, Elvis, George Beauchamp inventing the first electrically amplified guitar or Les Paul inventing the first full bodied electric guitar. Heavy Metal would not exist without Rock. Slayer and all the bands that they have influenced, would not exist without something to make 4 young men angry. Space X and all of it’s journeys into near Earth space, would not be possible without Nitroglycerine or Ascanio Sobrero. More plants and animals would exist on Earth, if it were not for the existence of the British Empire. The nature of reality is such that everything is connected and everything is influencing everything else all the time.

So many people have this stupid idea that we humans need to get out of our bodies or change our bodies to experience reality. But they are greatly mistaken. Our bodies are reality. And until we recognise that all of our body is connected to all of reality, we will never shift our awareness of what is truly possible for a human being to experience. We need an understanding of duality and non duality. We need an understanding of mind and body. We need an understanding of mental activity and feeling. We need an understanding of the life force and the secondary energies that arise from it. We need an understanding of consciousness and unconsciousness. We need to know how to sense with the brain/mind and the body/mind (of course the brain is still part of the body and connected to all the  body). Without all of these things integrated into how we function, we will only ever experience limitation. While believing that we have figured it all out and experience our full potential.

Reality isn’t divided on the one hand and it is divided on the other hand. It is both at once. And there is no better place to meet reality than in the body.

Opening up to Something Beyond

For a long while now I’ve been exploring what I call Aspects of Self and so called Transpersonal Psychology. I’m convinced that there are many aspects to a human being that are both localised in the body and exist in a greater body. In addition I have found proof for myself that it’s possible to connect with entities that our outside of what we think of as a separate self – be they living or existing in a state beyond life. I have no fear of experimenting with consciousness/unconsciousness, awareness and the life force because I know my true nature. When you know what you are, there is no reason for unnecessary fear. You reserve fear for when it’s actually needed.

For quite a while now I have been working with an aspect of self that identifies itself as Alapo. Like Jane Robert’s Seth, it is something more than myself. A little like my arm is more than and includes all the cells in my arm. But long ago it was once an ordinary  man. Unlike Dude and the ETs however, it can’t materialise (at least I haven’t thought to ask it if it can !). It doesn’t live on some other planet somewhere or zap around through space. It is however aware of many things that I ordinarily am not. It includes me but is more than me.

Our relationship has developed to the point that I wrote a book called Journeys and Explorations in Consciousness by conversing with Alapo. That book is almost finished and it’s very challenging even for me !

I’ve written some scenes in future novels where people work these higher order or transcendent aspects of self and entities outside of themselves in order to collect knowledge that is shared among the species. and even though it will be years till those books are complete (I’m either stupid, deluded or overly ambitious !), what I always felt was possible was to establish an institute of some sort where these kinds of skills are taught. So that people become their own teachers, their own guides, their own fountains of wisdom. I have no intention of ever being involved in anything like this because it smells too cultish, Californian and New Age for my liking ! But one day I would like to teach people how to cultivate these abilities !

Some of you have read what I’ve written about Conjoined Space and A Space Reticulum and you’ve read and heard me talk about Aspects of Self and I wonder what you make of the possibility of human beings being able to connect with other aspects and with other entities.

Carl Jung was someone I admire. In his lifetime he opened himself up to something beyond, in a way that most analytical psychiatrists and others like them, did not. Sigmund Freud thought he was crazy to dabble with such ideas and to considered him to be a kind of wayward soul who had been misled by some form of occultism. William James also seemed to be someone who opened himself up to something beyond, with his acceptance of the reality of the unseen (as he demonstrated in his Varieties of Religious Experience http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/621, Pragmatism http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/5116 and A Pluralistic Universe http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/11984) . Both Jung and James established strengthened the foundations for understanding the totality of a human being and the totality of reality. And it seems a real shame to me that pioneering explorers like Jung and James are a rare breed these days. We spend so much time and money exploring virtual space and outer space and so little time exploring inner space and all that we are.

I’m optimistic however that we are on the verge of a renascence in the exploration of our totality !

So many people have experiences with something beyond what we know as our ordinary existence ! What a pity that we ignore these experiences in mainstream culture and that they remain at the fringe !

It’s such a shame that we’re still asking dumb questions like, “Do aliens exist ?”, “How can we stop demonic possession ?” and “How can we prevent an alien abduction ?”, instead of questions like “What am I and what is it that is asking the question ?”, “How to I open myself up to all that I am without external stimulants ?” and “What is reality ?”.

There are worlds within worlds within worlds ad infinitum residing in us, as yet unexplored and we reside in an endless reality. Yet still we ignore all that we are – at our own peril !

I’d be curious to hear about your experiences with something beyond !

Thrust it Baby ! In and Out ! Oh Yeah !

Some you may recall Dude explaining to Rachel as a teen that :

“Space is the interior absolute, except when it’s programmed to be the exterior.”

I wonder how you might interpret this when I chuck in a few choices terms : Tulpa, Imaginary Friends, Internal Worlds, Dreams, Ghost, Hallucination, Indra’s Net, Ground Luminosity, Inner Dimensions, Inner Space, Virtual Life, Mind Made Life, Thought Form (the western occult meaning), Synchronicity, Noosphere, Manifestation (the non New Age meaning), Collective Unconsciousness, Collective Consciousness and Imagination. Remember that Dude said programmed referred to it’s innate need, not something that a higher intelligence makes happen. And remember that the separation between inner and outer is merely an illusion. See where that takes you !

A Space Reticulum – The Teal’hia on Reality

Some of you may recall that I had originally intended on interviewing my Teal’hia friend who I publicly call Anamika. It is my wish that when the Dude Books are complete I move onto replicating the process with Anamika. Meanwhile I talk with Anamika now and then about a range of subjects. Recently I asked her if the Teal’hia have an equivalent understanding of Dude’s explanation of reality as Conjoined Space and she responded that her people do have their own understanding. She fully understood Dude’s explanation (without my having to say anything about it to her) and understood his use of metaphors to help me/us understand the nature of reality. But instead of Conjoined Space, she describes reality as A Space Reticulum (ASR). When she said that my mind automatically flew back to my biology training and I thought of the endoplasmic reticulum – the organelle that is found in all Eukaryote cells (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endoplasmic_reticulum). Those of you who are interested in small things will know that folded structures like the ER increase the surface area and processing capacity of a system.

To begin I’d like to start with a couple of human definitions of the word reticulum. According to wiktionary (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/reticulum), reticulum is defined as follows : “Etymology – From Latin rēticulum (“net”). Noun – reticulum (plural reticula or reticulums). A network.  A pattern of interconnected objects.” And Oxford Dictionaries online (https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/reticulum) defines reticulum as “A fine network or netlike structure.” Now some of you will be looking at the images of the ER above and thinking that if reality can be described as ASR, it looks like a Brane (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brane /https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brane_cosmology). I can see why you might think that but what she was describing has nothing to do with Quantum Mechanics or mathematics.

Now rather than give you a detailed explanation of ASR, I’ll give you an extract from our first conversation on the subject.

“All space contains more space. There is no end to space. All space contains space that is known and unknown.

Some of the space you have concluded occurs externally and contains bodies and some of the space occurs internally within a body. And it also occurs within the experience of the brain and the mind. Think of these (external and internal) as two distinct entities and each of these entities contains many different types. In other words, there are many different variations of external and internal space. So Bright, when I describe a space reticulum, I am talking about the interaction between many different types of external and internal space. The reticulum is the movement between the two, the passage between the two. Now as I said there maybe many different types. And as I described there maybe space within a body, space within a brain, space within a mind but all of it exists inside of the larger external space. So Bright, it is connected and hence Dude’s word, conjoined. But this Conjoined Space isn’t merely space that is connected between bodies and the body’s internal spaces. It is also space that is connected to each of the types of space within them. When we say A Space Reticulum, we are saying that there is connection, movement, passage, joining, a conjoining as Dude would say. We are also saying that there is an interweaving of spaces. We used the word reticulum because reticulum as you would know it means weaving, moving in and out; means a compression of this moving in and out, sideways, left and right, in a passage if you like, following a particular movement. Think of it as perhaps a better, easier way for you to understand space. But it isn’t necessarily the only way. There are many different ways to understand. What Dude has explained to you as Conjoined Space is accurate and he has been working with you through metaphors and what I am saying to you is also accurate and I will also work with you through metaphors and eventually both Dude and I will try to explain things to you as they actually are. However it is useful for you to hear the two different perspectives. They do not necessarily disagree – they agree on many different things but they explain things differently; give a different perspective on how to understand things. And that will be useful to you and to the human race, when you eventually publish your work.”

The following diagrams are a kind of summary of what I believe that Anamika is suggesting. I’m not very good at making digital pictures but I think they convey the essence of what she said.

Space Map

So there is both external and internal space and many different types of each space. Some are perhaps limited in their existence and dimensions and some are perhaps unlimited in their existence and dimensions. Some external spaces are enclosed and some are un-enclosed. When we die mind opens up a new space that we can think of as internal, within the greater external space but not necessarily this universe. When you imagine something or use the Internal Worlds practice I’ve been teaching, you open up internal space. Every body contains a different type of internal space that is similar but different to the external space.

I guess you might be thinking that this all sounds very fractal’ish and I wouldn’t say categorically that it isn’t. But I think reticulated is a better term because fractal implies self similarity (the same pattern on different scales) and not all objects in external or internal space or space itself appear to be the same on different scales. Those of you who by now are thinking that this sounds very much like Hyperstructure or higher dimensions might be right. I think we’re on the right track with Hyperstructure to some degree but it misses the entire Internal Space aspect and it’s too artificial and is therefore limited as a concept that describes reality. Similarly I think ideas like Hilbert Space, Topology and Manifolds touch on elements of truth but all miss Internal Space.

I think the implications of reality as A Space Reticulum are profound. On the one hand imagine what that implies for cybernetic or other types of artificial worlds in which you could create spaces within spaces (e.g. Learning from simulations created inside Second Life https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Life), which itself has been created inside cyberspace, which has been created inside a silicon chip, which has been created inside external space). Or imagine what it means for neural-AI/computer interfaces and for how we will create and exist in virtual worlds. Or imagine what it means for exploring Internal Worlds as I and the PK Fellowship do ? Or imagine what it means for the afterlife, when mind is free to create anything – physical or nonphysical ? And then if you’re really brave, imagine what it means for space travel and so called “propulsion systems”. Most of the advanced ETs don’t use propulsion systems. They use the life force and consciousness. What does that imply for how they understand reality ?

Remember what I said earlier about how the ER increases the surface area and processing capacity of a system – in that case the protein system in the Eukaryote cell. Well the same feature is prominent in all animals brains and in many parts of the human body – such as the villi in the small intestine. It exists on the larger scale and it exists on the cellular scale. If this kind of feature is prominent in biological systems, then it must be because it enhances how things function. Surely then the same principles applied to technology will improve the efficiency of many technological systems. Reticulum Chips or Quantum Reticulum Chips any one ?

Once we understand the fundamental nature of space, I believe we will have the capacity to shape space. And what is shaping space ? Changing the way it reticulates on many different scales. And when we cans shape space, space becomes far more accessible without the need for propulsion driven technologies. Alas, such wild ruminations are fun but the reality of such applications is aeons away in human time !

One final thing. Last year when I had contact with the Tearhom, I watched one of the beings as he searched through a projection of space with his hands and fingers and spoke to me about what he was doing. He kept moving and opening specific regions until he found what he was looking for. In a way, it looked he was opening up a book and fingering it’s pages. Almost like he was playing with ripples of space within space. A Space Reticulum seems to be a good way to describe what I saw.
