The Something Monologues

I began The Something Monologues on the 29th October, 2014 – with absolutely no idea what I was doing or what they would be about. The Something Monologues (TSMs) usually happen when I’m out walking and may involve me talking about ETs, god, spirituality, life, my observations about life or my immediate environment (usually the natural world). They may be long or short, profound or a complete waste of your time. All TSM’s are recorded on my iPod. The only editing that is involved in creating them, involves fading in and out, bumping up the volume and changing the format from mp4 to mp3. I try to avoid recording when it’s windy but heck, if you hear the wind that just part of the reality of my experience. Where possible I’ll try to limit loud noise like wind but if it takes over, that’s the show. The TSMs are not meant to be perfect. They’re meant to be real !

You can download them for free or listen online from Podbean here, the BOX links below or from the main TSM folder here : . Alternatively you may subscribe to TSM via iTunes.

I’ve realized that the TSMs are a kind of catharsis for me and my way of helping others to experience a little of the joy that fills my life.

Please feel free to comment on anything I share in the TSM’s. This is a two way street. I talk, you listen and then anyone who wants to makes a comment, does so and together we learn from each another and we enjoy being part of the herd.

Enjoy my friends, Bright. 😉

  1. Bright that was a wonderful story about your visit with your friend Tom. It’s a comfort to know that our ET friends can help us in our final hrs here on earth. In the time I was caring for my Auntie up until her death she was having visitations during the night. She told me people would come into her room and take her out through the bedroom window and fly her up the street. My Auntie was deeply religious and we never spoke about ET’s or paranormal things. She was upset over these experiences and kept asking why it was happening. I did my best to comfort her but I didn’t feel it was right to tell her what I really thought. She only took 2 morphine doses the day she died and these visitations happened many months before that so I don’t believe these were hallucinations. She also had deathbed visions of family members being in the room with us. I asked her to point them out in the room and I would acknowledge them and thank them for watching over her.

    • Jan I reckon these are a great unrecognized area in human experience. Some of it acknowledged as death bed visions of those who have gone before, some of it acknowledged by particular people in the transpersonal movement, some of it acknowledged as ONLY states of mind by the Tibetan Buddhists (although they believe some of what is seen is dark entities vying to steal the soul – losers !). I do believe a lot of experiences are human mental projections and archetypes but others are not. It seems that something amazing is happening before the end of life that is demonstrating that the cosmos is teeming with life – mostly dead people we seem to see but also other things equally important.

Thanks for sharing your story. It seems like you shared a privileged time in your aunties life and have benefited from it ! I never got to find out from Tom is he saw them as he died the day after I saw him last (you’ll hear that in another TSM). But they said they would be there at the end. I guess I could find out but I almost prefer not to know.
