Hey folks, been having a shit few days due to tumour meds, so I’m off to bed early ! ‘Tis my wish you’re all well !
Thanks to Astrid, Sandor and Frédéric for being wonderful and supportive human beings and to Being, Ben and Marcus for your show of support in view of Dave’s ignorance !!! He caught me on a day when I had 3 nasty dickheads to deal with on social media, troubles with low blood glucose and had little sleep ! Any future comments from Dave will be automatically deleted as spam and I will no longer engage with such wankers !
Just something for you to contemplate. Many of you know that I have experimented with many things and investigated many things, these past 30 years. I am particularly interested in a model I have named “Aspects of Self”, which transcends our perceptions of time, about the nature of the self. While building up this model over many years, I realised and then demonstrated to myself, that I could connect with any me, anywhere, anytime.
So here’s the thing I want to leave you…You have the capacity to connect with that part of you that has died at the end of this life or any life !
Having said that, Dude’s explanation of reality as “Conjoined Space” in which the average human has about 1,200 conjoined lives attached to each original life (in each of what we would think of as an incarnation), adds a greater level of complexity to any understanding of what this you is that exists at the end of life.
I’ve been exploring this now for quite a while and spent a long time in dialogue with this other aspect. It has been a deeply rewarding pursuit and one that challenged all my preconceptions about life and death !
Anyway, I’m buggered ! This is just a quick post to spice up your day ! I haven’t yet written about the idea of being able to contact your self in the afterlife of this life but perhaps I will make a TSM on the subject in the next few months. I understand it maybe challenging for those of you with a linear view of reality or who don’t believe in life after life !
I’m curious to know, what would you ask your self, who had already lived this life ?
You can learn more about Aspects of Self or Conjoined Space or After Death Communication (with others), here on the blog or on The Something Monologues.
In this walky talky, I explore the notion that we can actually walk without distraction or the desire to label. I’ve been an avid walker for 37 years and it’s my desire to encourage you to share in the joy of walking.
WARNING : Sony Walkman, Michael Jackson and Motley Crue make an appearance in this monologue ! 😉
Today’s walky talky, starts with the joy of sheep ! Using their inspiration, I explore how we can systematically and holistically experience the joy of the present moment !
I recently read Robbie Graham’s excellent book UFOs’ : Reframing the Debate https://www.amazon.com/UFOs-Reframing-Debate-Robbie-Graham/dp/1786770237 and felt the need to explore the theme of how we perceive contact with the “other”, while out walking. When I listened to this monologue I realised it was so full of wind, that I’d have to can it (which is something I’ve done to about 20 monologues). But given it’s a long one (1:45:50) I decided to keep it. So please be warned, it’s full of wind in places and there was nothing I could do to prevent it or edit it out.
In this walk I take up the issue of how humans perceive and make sense of contact with the other. We could call the other ET but it’s not always clear at the time or after, that that’s exactly what it is. I ask how conditioning, belief, perception and self awareness determine how we make sense of an experience. I also suggest that these things change across the human life cycle (brain freeze – I couldn’t articulate this clearly at the time : http://winstonwuttunee.blogspot.com.au/p/blog-page_2171.html) and suggest that every human being having an experience sits at a certain point in the developmental cycle and as a result interprets the experience in a certain way
The point I try to emphasise is that how we perceive and the level of self awareness that we have, both determine how we see the world and how we interpret our experiences.
I suggest that contact with the other is leading us to a greater understanding of the self and reality. This understanding is helping us to grow in a way that helps us to engage more fully with the intelligence of the other.
Hang in there !
How do we know what we know ? Part of how we know is by knowing what we are. In today’s walk and wonder, I explore the idea that we can know things beyond ourselves because we are more than we think we are. Not everything appears to follow causality (cause and effect), as entanglement and spooky action at a distance would suggest. Or is causality always present – visible from many different perpectives ? When we embrace a wider perspective about what we are (through such ideas as Aspects of Self and Channeling and by deepening the well of experience), we can know much more than we would normally think is possible. What is in the way of such knowledge and experience, is our ignorance and our desire to remain comfortable in our identities.
Enjoy ! 😉
Two questions :
What is it that makes you uniquely you ?
What is the you, that takes you to be you ?
Please don’t be afraid ! Let the world hear you !
I dedicate this monoluge to Frédéric for his ongoing support and his enthusiasm for taking responsibility for his own development and for his efforts to be a better father, partner and human being ! I also dedicate this monologue to Astrid for her ongoing kindness and her continuous efforts (despite her own illness) to help others living and dead, to be free of their suffering !
In today’s stroll through the land, I explore the process that some have called Direct Knowing. There are several interpretations of this concept and in this monologue I explore what you might think of as a lower level form of DK, that I believe has greater value to us in our ordinary life. I provide you with working examples of how to develop DK through all the senses and then through the collective 5 senses.
Expect to hear lots of talkative sheep !

Some time ago someone asked me “What is self awareness ?” (I think it was JD) and at the time I thought “How do I answer that ?”. So that question has sat in my head for months and today I thought I’d offer a simple explanation of self awareness.
First start by asking “What is self ?”. Make it personal by asking “What am I ?”. This is an ancient question, and using the so called Neti Neti (not this, not this) approach http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neti_neti, we can penetrate an intellectual and felt experience of the answer. But then using Ramana Maharshi’s approach, ask “What is it that asks “What am I ?” ?”” (Ramana used who in place of what) – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramana_Maharshi . When you penetrate this from a felt persepective, you quickly know that you are something far beyond all you think you are. Maybe we could say a primordial consciousness experiencing the body. But words are hopelessly inadequate. It is the perception that you are something beyond the body and even the witness of all taking place in the body.
So explore this. Understand what it feels like. Know the perception. Go beyond just an intellectual understanding. This is the most important step to discovering what the self is.
Then, using the mind, learn about how your mind functions and how your body functions. Notice your thoughts, the silence between thoughts, the witnesseser of your thoughts, the emotions that arise in your mind and heart, the feelings in the body. Notice how these change according to your posture – sitting, standing, lying down and moving. Notice how certain activities and certain foods and thoughts change your emotions and the experiences in the body. Discover what feeds what Ramana calls the “I THOUGHT” and use Ramana’s first question to discover how it develops and functions.
The mind is located in both the body and is beyond the body. Because of this, the mind has different aspects, which can be experienced through dialogue and felt character. But most people only recognize one aspect – one voice within. Go beyond this, see the character of the other aspects within. We might say there are two selves in one. The small self – which resides in the body and sees itself as separate and impermanent and the greater self – which resides in all and is not separate but is one and is eternal. Ramana is effectively encouraging us to shift our perception from the small self to the greater self.
A human being is both the small self and greater self. True self awareness is recognizing both our dual and non dual nature and how each functions. It is not getting stuck in either.
Hello folks ! I wanted to say a little about inner contact methods vs outer contact methods. I’ve talked a little about both types of methods before and I think if you read what I’ve said about both (https://etandi.wordpress.com/category/contact-series/page/2/ & https://etandi.wordpress.com/2014/07/02/et-contact-apps-and-a-how-to-instructional/ &https://etandi.wordpress.com/2014/09/18/documenting-the-et-contact-experience/& https://etandi.wordpress.com/2014/06/22/107/ & https://etandi.wordpress.com/2014/06/22/caring-as-a-path-to-spiritual-growth-and-et-contact/ ), you’ll recognize that I’ve given you a foundation for developing different ways in which you can initiate ET contact, that go beyond the well known CE-5 protocols of Steven Greer. I’m not trying to boast here, I’m just suggesting that the CE-5 protocols come at contact from one point of view and that there are many other potential points of view, for approaching contact. You’ll also recall that I’ve talked a little about how aspects of self awareness and things such as personality type and temperament, contribute to your ability to successfully make contact. So let me start by exploring the strengths and weaknesses of each of the types of methods. Strengths of Internal Contact Methods :
- Gives you a sense of full control. You may loosen up your sense of control at your own pace in your own way.
- May create opportunity for further spiritual development and development of skills and knowledge in any field of interest.
- Strengthens trust in the ETs who participate in the relationship.
- Allows you to develop face to face, heart to heart relationships with a wide range of ETs.
- Helps to develop a deeper understanding of the oneness of all creation.
- Can be incredibly fun, enjoyable, profound and liberating.
- Works well for individuals.
- Can be done anywhere at any time.
- Can be done where you are most comfortable.
- Allows you to be fully conscious during face to face contact.
- With well developed self awareness, this method can be used with 2 or more individuals sharing the experience.
- Allows you to co-create a comfortable internal environment in which you feel safe.
- Can be life changing.
- Helps you to develop understanding of how ET contact can continue after the end of life.
- Can be easily documented as the process is unfolding.
- No need for any artificial substance or entheogen to loosen up your sense of self or reality.
Weaknesses of Internal Contact Methods :
- Requires a quiet and stable environment.
- May follow an unpredictable unfolding of events.
- Requires patience and discipline.
- Can be tiring, as it requires prolonged stillness and high levels of concentration and attention.
- Requires well developed self awareness.
- Can be difficult for some people to learn.
- Requires great trust in the process, in your own abilities and in the ETs that respond.
- Can result in self doubt and doubt in the process,
- Requires that you have good energy leading up to the event.
- Harder to do with groups.
Strengths of Outer Contact Methods :
- Does not require well developed self awareness.
- Easy to learn.
- Works well with people who need to see things to believe them.
- Works well for individuals and groups.
- Can be done anywhere but specific methods require access to the outdoors.
- Allows you to enjoy the atmosphere of the place or the company of other people.
- Can be done during night or day.
- Can be life changing.
- Usually follows a predictable unfolding of events.
Weaknesses of Outer Contact Methods :
- May require you to relinquish your sense of control.
- Requires patience.
- Requires that you have good energy leading up to the event.
- May require a high degree of comfort in being alone or outdoors at night.
- Can come with internal experiences (such as telepathic contact) and external experiences that may be hard to believe.
- Internal experiences may be hard to validate or to understand.
- Will usually only result in the sighting of craft. Few people will have face to face encounters with ET’s.
- Can be exhausting.
- Can be undermined by distractions such as monitoring devices, mobile phones and group members who are afraid or restless.
- Requires good understanding of the process for the vast majority of specific external methods.
- Can be easily documented as the process is unfolding but this can become a major distraction and weaken the process.
If you’re familiar with some of the internal and external contact methods I’ve talked about and the prerequisites for contact, I think you’ll understand what I’m saying about the strengths and weaknesses of internal and external contact methods. You may also recognize that different personality types and temperaments probably resonate with either internal or external contact methods and specific methods within each group. To give you an example – I use all kinds of methods but because I am very comfortable with my inner world, the inner contact method I have talked about here, suits me very well. It allows me to connect with my ET friends when they can’t come to meet me in the physical world and it also allows me regular access to them in a way that can’t happen in the outer world. Every contact with them in this way provides me with an opportunity to learn something new – which is often very profound. And that’s different to when they come to visit because often they are very busy with health assessments and teaching me other things and answering my questions. So for someone like me, the inner method I describe is a kind of adjunct method that deepens my physical encounters and provides me with regular, ongoing access to many different beings – some of whom I might only meet physically once in a life time.
What should be remembered above all, is that inner and outer methods provide us with a unique way to shift perception – to “in here” or “out there”. But ultimately inner and outer are the same and not separate. They are part of the one continuous reality. Ken Wilbur has said “The original meaning of Kosmos was the patterned nature or process of all domains of existence, from matter to mind to God, and not merely the physical universe.” So from this point of view, we can say that when we attempt to make ET contact using an internal or external methods, we are attempting to access the Kosmos from a specific entry point – which while seemingly separate to the rest of the Cosmos, is inside of us and we are inside of it. We access the Kosmos within and the Kosmos without but they are the same singular Kosmos – without division or separation, only the appearance of division of separation.
When Dude moves through what we see as time or space, he is simply opening up the Kosmos within. When Dadaji appeared on the other side of the world or his Fragrance was detected on another continent, he was also simply opening the Kosmos within. Both realize that there is a relative self and an absolute self. The relative self – the one that seems separate and in relationship to other objects and the absolute self that is everything.
So being able to play around and experiment with both types of methods of contact, gives us the opportunity to experiment with our identity as a separate individual and as God. When we go out there, we can feel that we are separate and everything. And when we go in here, we can feel that we are separate and everything. Both methods give us the opportunity to feel both perspectives and both realities. To give you an example – when I go within and make contact, I am usually just the normal me – but I can also assume any body I want or a point of awareness. I can also be the Kosmos and experience all that transpires in all of the beings that manifest in that co-created world. There is no limit to what one can experience, only the limitations we place on our small self, which has expectation and likes control.
It is my wish, that in addition to you playing around with different outer contact methods, more people will begin to experiment with internal contact methods. Because ultimately, what is within is carried with us at the end of our life, long after your ability to go sit under the stars has been extinguished. And if we can learn to have contact within, we will remain connected with our cosmic family, well beyond the boundaries of this life. And by making contact within, we set our selves on a path of discovery about who we really are and the nature of reality. A path of discovery, that never ends.
