For Seekers

For those of you still seeking :

My recommendations for those of you seeking a spiritual path include Neo Advaita, Chan Buddhism, the teachings of Dadaji (Amiya Roy Chowdhury) and Ramana Maharshi. But hey, that’s just my cup of tea. If you find yourself drowning in choices, go outside and watch the clouds and the trees. They will teach you more than any human can.

  1. Thanks great list. Seeking can be a bitch especially with the internet.. there is no ending that thing. Then one day it starts to slow down and you are content just to sit with yourself, what a day that is.

I still read things, i guess in a way still seeking, but not so frantically more with just a curious childlike wonderment. Right now I’m interested in some of the original teachings on the Chakra system, although most of that is in Hindi, so slow research there. And i always check with my own existing knowing, how does that resonate with what i have already experienced? Rather than just taking anything on blind.. mind you i was always like that in school, a very “poor” student in the eyes of the so called system. That whole. copy this down in your book thing. used to really annoy me. I was like all the time “Why?” And don’t get me started on History classes..the whole time i would fight with the teachers. “Whose history is this?” i would always ask, to which i would get an annoyed stare.. and a groan from the class, there she goes again, lol. Of course now it all makes sense. How to stay sane though in an insane and asleep world, was the battle. Thank God for middle age is all i can say, being awake is no longer such a unsafe place to inhabit.

    peace A

  2. Thank you Bright 🙂
