Expanding Your Physical and Emotional Senses – Part 2

What follows is a continuation of my previous post on the subject : https://etandi.wordpress.com/2014/05/28/expanding-your-physical-and-emotional-senses/ .

I wasn’t going to post this, as I was going to save it for the audio contact series but today I thought “What the hell !”.

Enjoy !

Temperature changes

Temperature changes are perceived by the entire body, but are especially noticeable through the skin, the nails, the hair and the bones and the heart. To test this, have someone put something hot or cold near you, while you have your eyes closed or go outside at night with few clothes on and then come back in and notice the difference. Or try jumping in a hot or cold bath.

Gravity changes

Your sense of gravity is firmly embedded in your body. Your body has grown up on this planet and knows the gravity of Earth. You feel it in your skin, bones, muscles, organs, fluids, posture and gait. When you’re tired, you often feel that gravity is too much and you lie down and change the impact of gravity on your bodies individual parts. You can most strongly sense gravity in your feet and your ass. When you stand, you feel a downward pressure and an upward pressure on your feet. When you sit you feel a downward pressure and an upward pressure on your as. But you can also feel it on your back or your side when you lie down and inside your body, if you really pay attention. The sense of gravity may change in the presence of an ET or a craft, if there has been a change in the electromagnetic field or a change in consciousness. You can become more familiar with the sense of gravity by changing position and noticing how the sense of gravity various depending on what you are doing – sitting, standing, walking or lying down and whether you are still or in motion.

Pressure changes

Our bodies live in an external environment where the pressure is relatively constant. Unless of course we travel under the sea a lot, in space or move up and down high altitudes. Likewise our bodies internal pressure is relatively static and when it changes you tend to get sick. The sense of pressure can change when the sense of gravity changes or when there are electromagnetic energy field changes. Such pressure changes can occur in the presence of ETs, their craft or when doorways of various sorts are opened. These pressure changes are most often felt as tightness or pushing on the skin or organs. It can also be felt in the eyes and the ears. It can be very subtle of very strong. The best way to develop this sense is to see what happens to your body when you change altitude or go in water. You can while having a bath experiment with a limb, seeing how the sensation various as you lower it slowly to the bottom of the bath tub. You can also experiment with the sense of pressure by holding your nose and blowing into your ears or by pushing your eyeball.

An energised lymphatic/lymphoid system

Your lymphatic system plays a key role in regulating the circulatory system and supporting the immune system. In the presence of certain strong energies, the lymph (clear fluid that carries many important cellular compounds, including electrolytes) and the lymph nodes become energised and feel like they are heating up. This can be perceived as a line of heat running through the line of lymph nodes through the body. It can be particularly strong in the middle to lower abdomen or under the arm pits (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Lymph_nodes_illustration.jpg). If you become aware of how your body typically feels, you can refine this sense.

An energised circulatory system

The circulatory system includes the blood and the lymph, the heart and the blood vessels (arteries, veins and capillaries). In the presence of certain strong energies, the blood and the heart can became highly energised. This can be perceived as heat running through the vascular system (sometimes in one region of the body and sometimes all through the body) and heat and strong feelings in the heart. Typically the heart will feel stronger and more intense and will illicit very strong emotions, that can be overwhelming. You can become familiar with this sense in the heart in many different ways.

Here are some exercises to help you discern how your heart feels.

  • Take notice of your heart feels and and your emotions when you rise from sleep and when you go to bed.
  • Enter a room full of people who love you and see how your heart feels.
  • Watch a violent movie and see how your heart feels and your emotional state varies.
  • Watch a sentimental movie and see how your heart feels and your emotional state varies.
  • Go for a run and stop suddenly. Notice how your heart feels and your emotional state changes.
  • Watch someone or something suffering. Notice how your heart feels and your emotional state changes.
  • Close your eyes. Put your palms together in front of you. Imagine a rope between your hands that is joined to your heart. Begin pulling the rope until it feels tight and you are super aware of the physical sense of your heart. Notice how it feels physically and emotionally.

If you become aware of how your body typically feels, you can practice many different exercises to develop a felt sense of the heart and the emotions that arise from within it.

Ear tones

Ear tones typically happen in one or both ears in the presence of strong energies. These may arise from geophysical causes (related to natural energies of the ground), oceanic causes, atmospheric causes, artificial causes (such as high voltage power lines), solar or cosmic causes (such as our sun or cosmic rays) or living causes (such as trees or ET’s). Ear tones also have physical causes that can reflect ear, brain or nerve problems. Ear tones also occur as the ear naturally tunes itself. Some ear tones may occur as a result of the presence of strong electromagnetic fields created by the presence of ETs or their craft or alterations in physical reality. The best way to refine this sense is to know what sounds your ears usually perceive – including the sound of silence and to pay attention to this base level sound as you move through your environment.

Feelings in the 3rd Eye region

The third eye region can be found by placing your first two fingers on either hand together in a natural comfortable triangle and placing that triangle equally on your eyebrows. The 3rd eye corresponds approximately to the area in the middle of the triangle, about

half way back in your head. The 3rd eye is thought to represent the pineal gland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pineal_gland). The Pineal Gland is an organ which is thought to regulate Melatonin production , which is stimulated by darkness. It effectively sets the rhythm, which sets our internal clock via the Suprachiasmatic Nucleus. The Pineal Gland is also believed to produce several other significant chemicals and is thought to thought to accumulate several elements including calcium, phosphorous, fluoride, magnesium and minor amounts of various metals. Some of these accumulations appear to be damaging to the body, while it is suspected that others maybe useful to the development of the 3rd eye. The Pineal gland also sits in the middle of the skull and as such has the potential to grow large numbers of nerve fibres into both left and ride sides of the brain below the hemispheres. It appears to be connected to many different nerves in the brain/regions of the brain and is likely to carry out many as yet unrecognised functions.

Feelings in the 3rd eye region can vary and a typically occur as a response to the presence of strong energies. These may also arise from geophysical causes (related to natural energies of the ground), oceanic causes, atmospheric causes, artificial causes (such as high voltage power lines), solar or cosmic causes (such as our sun or cosmic rays) or living causes (such as trees or ET’s). Typical 3rd Eye feelings are a strong localised sense in the middle of the forehead or the middle of the head. These feelings can feel like a burning sensation, like something that has been plunged into the head, like something has opened inside the head or like a strong kind of magnetic pull or resonance. You can refine this sense by becoming familiar with what you normally feel and by exposing yourself to various environments sitting in front of a computer for long periods of time, (artificial environments like shopping centres and factories and areas near high voltage power lines; people who love you, people who dislike you, environments that feel safe and those that feel dangerous and natural environments such as mountains, peaks, valleys, forests, rivers/streams/creeks, volcanoes, snowfields, gardens, flower beds, the ocean or places with lots of wild animals. Each of these environments has the potential to help you become aware of what you feel with your 3rd Eye. Healthy environments help you to develop feeling in your 3rd Eye. Your 3rd Eye can also develop greater feeling and be opened as a mechanism for shifting perception with various exercises.

Here are two little exercises I have developed that you might find useful.

Exercise One.

  • Sit down and close your eyes.
  • Bring your attention to the location of your Pineal Gland.
  • Now feel how it feels.
  • Then set yourself the intention of seeing something in the next room.
  • Allow yourself to see something out of sight.
  • Notice how your Pineal Gland feels.
  • Now try to something further way and see how that feels.
  • Each time you get more comfortable move your vision further away and notice how your Pineal Gland feels.

Exercise Two.

  • Hold a mobile phone or electronic pad up to your 3rd Eye for 2 minutes and see how your Pineal Gland feels.
  • Pick a leaf from a vegetable in your garden and hold the leaf to your 3rd Eye region for 2 minutes.
  • See how your Pineal Gland feels.
  • Now pick something you dislike and repeat.
  • Now pick something you really like and repeat.
  • Go for a walk and hold your head lightly against a beautiful tree.
  • See how your Pineal Gland feels.
  • Hold your left or right hand up to your 3rd Eye for 2 minutes and see how your Pineal Gland feels.
  • Have someone hold up their left or right hand to your 3rd Eye for 2 minutes and see how your Pineal Gland feels.
  • Notice how your Pineal Gland feels different when exposed to different energies.

Electrostatic sensations

Electrostatic sensations usually arise in the skin. You can perceive such sensations for example, when you place your naked arms or belly near a television that is on or has just been turned off. These sensations reflect a movement of the electrical charge (and the corresponding electromagnetic energy field) within or around an object. This movement can cause a movement in your own bodies electrical charge and this can be felt on the surface of the body (the skin) or within the body (any where). Changes in the electrical field may also arise from geophysical causes (related to natural energies of the ground), oceanic causes, atmospheric causes, artificial causes (such as high voltage power lines), solar or cosmic causes (such as our sun or cosmic rays) or living causes (such as trees or ET’s). You are most likely to refine this sense by developing an awareness of the natural state of feeling in your skin. Some people feel electrostatic sensations best in the hands but you may also feel them in the spinal chord. This may correspond to the hairs rising on your back or your neck. An electrostatic charge feels like there has been a dramatic shift in energy and the body knows it as a tingling, a prickliness, an itch or a multitude of other very subtle sensations.

Here are a couple of exercises to help you refine this sense.

  • Strip off and stand next to your television when it’s on and then when you turn it off. What can you feel and where can you feel it ?
  • Visit a school and ask if you can stand near a Van der Graaf Generator.
  • Rub your hand together really fast and hard and then just feel the sensation.
  • Rub your hands together real fast and then put them against your face sand notice the sensation.
  • Stand near a powerful magnet and notice the sensation on the outside and inside of your body.
  • Rub a balloon on the ground or against some silky fabric then hold it above your head and feel the sensation in your hair and your head.
  • Visit a high voltage power transformer or overhead cables and stand near them for a few minutes, paying careful attention to the inside and outside of your body. Don’t stay long as these environments are dangerous to your health.

Your finger nails and your hair can also transmit/feel electrostatic sensations, so don’t forget to focus on those parts of your body too.

General energetic sense

Many people have the experience of feeling changes in energy when they move to a different environment, touch different objects or meet different people. Everything has it’s own unique energetic signature – that is an overall electromagnetic field or resonance. That sense that something has a different energetic signature is common but very few people have a well defined sense of it. Anyone who seriously practices any of the energetic arts such as Tai Chi or Qi Gong or Buddhist Tantra or any of the serious bodywork arts, will also tell you that you can feel energy moving in various parts of the body. Every environment that we live in has an impact on the energetic sense. Some environments feel right and others feels bad. Some have strong energies and others have weak energies. Some objects have weak energies and some objects haves strong energies. And all people have their own energetic signature. Each of the basic elements – Earth, air/wind, Fire and Fire have their own energetic signatures. And everything exists in a continuum flux of energetic fields. Everything on Earth exists in the broader electromagnetic field of the Earth and our local arm of the galaxy and the galaxy itself. But energy is also created by the food we eat and our emotional states. Energy can therefore be felt as a physical sensation or an emotional state. In the presence of ETs, ET craft or alterations in the electromagnetic field, your energetic signature will be affected by the presence of other energies. This sense is widespread throughout the body and may include some of the previous senses. To develop your energetic sense, try the following exercises.

Exercise One.

  • Sit in an open space and allow yourself to experience your natural energetic state. Feel your body completely.
  • Now take a bag of garbage out of your rubbish bin. Be sure to include garbage that has a real foul smell about it.
  • Place the bag about 2 feet from your body (closer if you can).
  • Ignore all your other senses and focus your attention on the energy coming from the garbage and how it makes you feel.
  • Notice how your own energetic field is affected.
  • Sit with the garbage for 10-15 minutes.
  • The feeling created by the garbage is a 0 on a scale of 0-10.
  • Now take away the garbage and rest as you were in open space.
  • Feel your natural energetic state return.
  • Now go somewhere and sit right next to a big beautiful old tree.
  • Notice how your own energetic field is affected.
  • Sit with the tree for 10-15 minutes.
  • The feeling created by the tree is a 9 or a 10 on your scale of 0-10.
  • Now try to connect with some other objects and see if you can determine where they sit on your energetic scale.
  • The more you practice, the more you will become aware of this felt energetic sense.

Exercise Two.

  • Sit and notice how your body feels.
  • Look at the rising or setting sun.
  • Imagine the suns light entering your eyes and filling the middle of your head.
  • Feel what it feels like to have the warm energy (Yang energy) of the sun enter your head.
  • Now imagine the same energy running down the middle of your body and pooling between your belly button and your anus.
  • Feel what it feels like to have the warm energy of the sun move through your body and down into your lower Dan Tien (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dantian).
  • Notice how your body feels after the solar energy has entered your body, compared to before.

Exercise Three.

  • Sit and notice how your body feels.
  • Stand in cold water and imagine energy from the water moving up your legs.
  • Feel what it feels like to have the cool energy of the water move through your legs.
  • Now picture the energy of the water moving up your spine and into the base of your brain.
  • Feel what it feels like to have the cool energy of the water move through your spine.
  • Notice how your body feels after the water energy has entered your body, compared to before.

Exercise Four.

  • Drive to a shopping centre.
  • Sit in your car and notice how your body feels.
  • Now, go into the shopping centre and sit in the middle of a moving crowd.
  • Notice how it feels as various people move past you.
  • See if you can discern their different and unique energetic signatures.
  • Notice how various people make you feel physically and emotionally.
  • Now try with your eyes closed.

These exercises will help you to discern both your own energetic felt and emotional sense and the presence of a different energetic signature in places, people and objects.

So we have now explored the body’s senses. Congratulations ! If you have come this far and had a go at the exercises, you have just developed Mindfulness of the Body.

Now lets look at the internal senses of the mind. At this point it is important to explain that each one of these physical senses, particularly the 5 primary senses, has a corresponding internal counterpart.

Most people have one sense that is stronger than the others – usually it’s vision but it may also be hearing. So rather than focus on all of the corresponding internal senses I will discuss an internal visual sense (the minds eye) and an internal auditory sense (the minds ear).

The Mind’s Eye

The mind’s eye is that sense that you can see from the inside. The mind’s eye represents an opening of your visual awareness. In some instances it maybe possible to see things that are not readily visible in the Visible Light Spectrum. Many people associate using the mind’s eye with an active Pineal Gland but I think that is a very limited view. Using your minds eye may also be related to shifting your subjective perception from limited small self to the unlimited greater body. An aspect of you is everything and knows everything but for the most part you live from the small self. When you shift perspective it feels like the self is no longer contained in the body. Your perception opens up and is more inclusive. It may still appear as a point of awareness, but that point can now see beyond the limitations of the physical sight. As a felt sense, shifting to your inner eye can feel like the Pineal Gland has become active (see section on the 3rd Eye) but it can also feel like many different parts of the brain are active at once or like there is great stillness in the activity of the brain. This sense is probably accessible in any state but is best accessed from within the alpha wave state (deep relaxation) or delta wave state (such as in dreaming).

When ETs or their craft are present they are often invisible – either cloaked or only partially materialised. Using the mind’s eye it is possible to see ETs or their craft. The use of other felt senses can help validate what the mind’s eye is seeing.

Here are a couple of exercises to help you develop this sense (see also the section on the 3rd Eye).

Exercise One.

  • Sit down and close your eyes.
  • Let your mind settle.
  • See if in your mind you can see what someone you love is doing at this exact moment.
  • Notice any sensations in your head – in particular contractions or tightening or energetic sensations in the middle of your head.
  • Notice any sensations that arise in your heart and any corresponding emotions.
  • Now, return your awareness to here and now.
  • After a rest begin again. See if in your mind you can see specific objects in the various levels of your fridge.
  • Do a quick sketch of what you see.
  • Notice any sensations in your head – in particular contractions or tightening or energetic sensations in the middle of your head.

In addition see the exercise above about working with solar energy. But this time focus the solar energy on the Pineal Gland area. Use this as a mechanism for energising the 3rd Eye.

Exercise Two.

  • Collect 3 objects – 2 that are known to you and one that belongs to someone else.
  • Sit down and close your eyes.
  • One at a time, hold each object in your hand or next to your 3rd Eye.
  • See if in your minds eye you can perceive any images connected with the object.
  • Just see them, don’t judge them.
  • Later see if you can, learn more about the objects history and compare it to what you saw.

The Mind’s Ear

The mind’s ear is that sense that you can hear from the inside. The mind’s ear represents an opening of your auditory awareness. In some instances it maybe possible to hear things that are not readily heard in the by the ear or within the normal hearing range. The mind’s ear is a sense that is similar to telepathy or empathic telepathy but is not the same. It is if you like the early phase of that phenomenon. I do not know how the mind’s ear is activated in the brain but my suspicion is that is is both a global phenomenon situated in both hemispheres and in the Pineal Gland.

When ETs or their craft are present they are often invisible – either cloaked or only partially materialised. Using the mind’s ear it is possible to hear ETs or their craft. The use of other felt senses can help validate what the mind’s ear is hearing.

Here is a simple exercise for developing the mind’s ear.

  • Sit down and close your eyes.
  • Let your mind settle.
  • See if in your mind you can hear sounds in a room in your nearest neighbours house.
  • Notice any sensations in your head – in particular contractions or tightening or energetic sensations in the middle of your head or near your ears..
  • Notice any sensations that arise in your heart and any corresponding emotions.
  • Now, return your awareness to here and now.
  • After a rest begin again.
  • See if in your mind you can hear specific sounds in your backyard.
  • Do a quick sketch of what you see.
  • Notice any sensations in your head – in particular contractions or tightening or energetic sensations in the middle of your head or near your ears..
  • Notice any sensations that arise in your heart and any corresponding emotions.
  • Now, return your awareness to here and now.
  • After a rest begin again.
  • See if in your mind you can hear a conversation that someone you love might be having or have had earlier today.
  • Notice any sensations in your head – in particular contractions or tightening or energetic sensations in the middle of your head or near your ears..
  • Notice any sensations that arise in your heart and any corresponding emotions.
  • Now when they come home, ask them if they had such a conversation.

Now finally let’s consider the internal senses of the heart, which exist as emotions in the mind (with physiological states in the heart/body/brain).

The internal senses of the heart

The internal sense of the heart is the vast array of emotions which play through our sleeping and waking life. In the presence of ETs who have strong energies and an overwhelming sense of love (most of them anyway), nearly all humans become highly emotional and physically sick. Most people black out, no matter how determine they are to meet ET. So to develop this sense there are two things that we need to do – know our emotions and control our emotional reactions.

Here are a couple of exercises to help you to know your emotions.

  • First, lie down and take some time to remember the most significant moments of your life – the joys, the successes, the losses, the heartache. Feel everything. Notice the feeling in the heart and the overall body. Notice the emotions that arise.
  • Now let go of all that emotion and begin to use your imagination, feeling all that arises :
  • Picture the children who starved to death during the great Ethiopian famine
  • Picture someone you love dying and then decaying.
  • Picture yourself making love to someone who means the world to you.
  • Picture a nuclear weapon being released above your town and see everything you know being destroyed.
  • Picture your own eventual death and then your funeral and your cremation or burial.
  • Picture JFK being shot from the perspective of his wife who sat next to him. See his brain exposed and splattered everywhere. Feel your shock and the scream that comes out of your mouth. See the gun man looking at you.
  • Picture yourself being held by a great being a pure light and feel a deep unconditional love radiating your entire being.
  • Picture the Vietnam war and see a young 19 year old soldier carrying a baby out of a village towards a Jeep. See a fellow soldier shout at him and force him to drop the baby. See how it feels to be the soldier who saved the baby and the baby and then the soldier who forced him to drop the baby.
  • Picture yourself as a butterfly flying in a wind stream with thousands of other butterflies high above a forest. See yourself connecting with many of them, together seeking your new home.
  • Picture your favourite cat or dog and now picture the day they first came into your life. Picture the same animal getting buried in a distant future.
  • Picture the generations of children that will flow from your line. All of these descendants who have come into existence because you lived.
  • Picture the most beautiful place you know. See it being destroyed by bulldozers and explosives. Now see it re-emerge as it was.
  • Look at a wound on your body and let yourself remember everything that is attached to that wound.
  • Picture yourself holding your first grandchild for the first time.
  • Picture yourself being given a beautiful flower by a stranger.
  • Picture yourself holding the hand of a wonderfully wise ad loving young child.
  • Now let go of all that emotion and using your imagination see yourself meeting an ET for the first time. Notice everything that arises in your body and all the feeling that arises in your heart and the emotion in your mind.

Now that we”ve explored both the external and internal senses, take time to move through your days and be aware of all of your senses. I’d like to suggest that all up we have at least 19 senses ( 16 of which I explained to you). Some senses will be more “switched on” than others. But with time they will grow in strength. Where you can, take a day or a week to work with one new sense at a time.

When the time comes for an ET encounter, you’ll be more likely to be ready than before, when you were less aware of these senses. And you’ll be content to rely more on your own senses than any external tools. You can work with any of these senses any time. And as you grow in awareness of them, not only will you enhance your contact experience, you will become more aware of your own lives – what is within and what is without. You will learn to listen to your body and your mind and make better choices.

So that’s it for learning to expand your physical and emotional senses. I think that’s more than enough to shift your perception and to help you broaden your awareness of mind body.

Remember the more you work with and cultivate these senses, the stronger they will become and the easier it will be for you to discern the presence of ETs and to make ET contact. Not only that, you will have developed greater awareness of the world around you and the world within.

Anyone who believes they have ascended, has more than likely done very little to come back down into the body and really wake up !

The body’s where it’s at GROOVY CATS.
